Ok, I have to admit that I walked into Copperfield's show a little jaded. You see I had dated a magician and new how a lot of the tricks were performed. There were some parts of this show which had me rolling my eyes. You would think that a magician of his reknown would let the old standbys, well stand by.

By the end of the show though, I was cheering as loud as the rest. The difference between a street magician and a true stage magician is performance and Mr. Copperfield definitely has that in the bag. 

He gripped us with a moving story of his grandfather, while performing his powerful illusions, and that is where David parts ways with most magicians. He pulled at our heart strings before bedazzling our senses with his special array of illusions. 

Will you see the standard man being sawed in half trick? Yes, you will but you will also end this performance with a moment that will stay with you for the rest of your life. That is the brilliance of Copperfield, his ability to lure you in with some of the old stand bys and then wow you with what you would only assume was unimaginable.

Every time I go to Vegas, my friends and family ask if I will go to see this show. Immediately following their question they begin to recount when they went to see him and how amazing he is. I have yet to find one person who has related a less than sensational experience. They simply gush as soon as his name is mentioned - especially the women.

He knows how to thrill time after time and it is for good reason that he is one of the most popular stage magicians in Vegas. His show has run forever and shows no sign of stopping. People fly in from all over the world just to see him perform and most of the people that I talk to would gladly shell out the cash for a repeat performance.

A true entertainer knows how to give his audience an experience of a life time every time. This is clearly something that David Copperfield shows excel at. You never know what to expect. His tricks are big and brilliant and you will find yourself puzzling trying to figure out just how he pulls off these spectacular illusions.
